BOOK PROJECT : "INVISIBILITY":

​

Have you ever wondered about the presence of absence or the existence of non-existence?

 

I have always been fascinated by the existence of invisibleness. This book, and the accompanying jewelry, will be the first step in my way of showing invisibleness and question myself on what it may lead to in the future.

I want to challenge fixed ideas and show that absence has shaped our collective consciousness and memory. I believe artistic research can and should delve into these topics.

 

 

“Presence of absence” will be an array of “stories” - stories often silenced by society - that document, challenge and reflect on invisibility, erasure, oblivion, …

Besides the storytelling I will also show some examples of my work illustrating these same themes.
